Today, April 19, marks 43 years since the passing of Genesius' founder, Jane Simmon Miller. 1923 - 1975
A word from our Artistic Producer, Larry Fecho:
"One of the greatest women I have ever known! ! I miss you lady! I so wish you were here to see how far Genesius has come and knew how many young actors lives you have touched! And to think it just started as a dream... a thought... a hope... in your brilliantly creative brain."
"Jane died on the closing Saturday night of our production of “Cabaret” - April 19 - That was so Jane! The final lyrics of the finale are “Auf wiedersehen! A bientot! Good night!” - At the time of her passing she was directing “Plain Betsy” —- oddly or Godly it was the first show she ever directed and the last one as well!"
An excerpt from "Genesius The Musical" by Larry Fecho & Michael O’Flaherty:
“Then out of the blue, something happens to you... there’s a friendly face... a hand extended in love...” ...
